In August of 2008, Thomas helped launch "The Lighthouse Effect" in Ireland and Northern Ireland, sponsored by the World Trust Foundation. The Lighthouse Effects Concerts for Peace were performed by groups of indie artists and then filmed for a documentary by director Tess Cacciatore. By uniting and empowering young leaders, musicians and artisans of the world work toward bridging indigenous cultures through the heartbeat of music.
