The Universal Light Expo is the largest all-volunteer non-profit event of its kind in the whole country!   And it takes many, many helpers assisting the ULE committee to keep this show running.   Most of the volunteers are needed during the show on Saturday and Sunday, throughout the whole day.

Those that volunteer are able to gain free admission into the show when the doors open after signing in at the North Hall ticket office. This enables all volunteers to have the same access to the show. Volunteers are then required to sign-in at the North Hall Information Booth 5-10 minutes before their schedule time.

To be a ULE volunteer at the show, communicate your interest to the ULE volunteer committee by:

  • Contacting the ULE volunteer committee via e-mail or voice-mail during August or September. (Both e-mail and voice-mail are available 24 hours everyday!

  • Indicate the day or days you want to volunteer (i.e. Sat. or Sun. or both).

  • Indicate the number of hours you would like to volunteer for each day (a minimum of 2 consecutive hours per day is required).

  • Supply the times during the show that you are not available (for example: a must see speaker Sat. 2:00-3:00, or not arriving at the show until 11:00am).

  • Indicate if you have volunteered at ULE before, and if so, what you did.

  • Tell us how long have you have been coming to this show.

  • Although not required, we do ask for a phone number solely to call you and let you know the time(s) you have been assigned and to confirm you understand the required procedures.
